However, if you want to get in the field more, hunt with less pressure, improve your odds of drawing a tag, or to introduce a new person to the world of hunting; a female only tag is worth considering. Foregoing the antlers benefits game management and is still a rewarding experience.

Wyoming Trophy Bull Elk
This bull elk was shot up the North Fork, out of Cody Wyoming in 2007. He gross scores 421, but after a deduction for his seventh tine he drops down to 401. He is 3/8 inch short on the one tine to be non typical.
